جلسه ششم دوره «از تفکر سیستمی تا دینامیک سیستم‌ها» به بررسی منابع اطلاعات و تکنیک‌های مدلسازی گروهی برای ساخت مدلهای سیستمی پویا می‌پردازد.
تفکر سیستمی یک پارادایم فکری است که جهان را به صورت سیستم‌هایی به هم پیوسته و در هم تنیده می‌بیند و به شناخت و تصمیم‌گیری بهتر در مورد مسایلی که با آنها مواجه هستیم، کمک می‌کند.
«رشد نمایی» توسط حلقه‌های بازخوردی مثبت و زمانی به وجود می‌آید که افزایش مقدار متغیرهای حالت، باعث افزایش نرخ‌های ورود آنها شود.
